What a rally. What a finish.
Croatia Rally delivered one of the most dramatic conclusions of the season—reminding us once again why the World Rally Championship is never over until the final stage.

Katsuta Strikes Again
Against all odds, Takamoto Katsuta has done it again.
The Japanese driver secured back-to-back victories, following his emotional triumph in Kenya with another sensational win in Croatia.
But this was no ordinary victory.
This was a win handed over in the most brutal, unpredictable way possible—Safari-style drama on smooth Croatian tarmac.
From Control to Catastrophe
The rally had been a story of shifting momentum.
-Friday belonged to Sami Pajari, who showed incredible pace and composure.
-Saturday saw Thierry Neuville take control, delivering a near-perfect drive to build a commanding lead.

Everything pointed to a Neuville victory.
Until the final stage.
Wolf Power Stage Twist
Then came the decisive moment on the Wolf Power Stage.
In a cruel twist of fate, Neuville went slightly off-line—just enough to cause suspension damage.
And just like that…The rally was gone. From leading comfortably…to losing it all in the final moments.
That’s rallying.
🥇 Final Podium
1️⃣ Takamoto Katsuta – Winner 🏆
2️⃣ Sami Pajari – Consistent and composed
3️⃣ Hayden Paddon – Strong podium finish
Pajari’s resilience earns him a well-deserved second place, while Paddon capitalizes on the chaos to secure third.
Is This Katsuta’s Moment?
Two rallies.
Two wins.
From heartbreak in previous seasons…
to dominance in 2026.
Is the momentum finally shifting towards Katsuta?
The confidence is there.
The results are coming.
And now, the championship picture is changing.
The question is no longer if Katsuta can win.
It’s now: Can he go all the way?
Croatia was supposed to be about precision.
Instead… it delivered heartbreak.
From Pajari’s early dominance
to Neuville’s late collapse
to Katsuta’s silent rise—
This rally had everything.
Because in WRC…
you don’t win until the last corner.
