Rally Greece: The Gods Have Spoken

After four grueling days of dust, heat, and roaring engines, the gods of Greece have finally chosen their champion. Rally Greece saw all teams putting their best foot forward, but it was Thierry Neuville’s strategic patience that paid off. Slow but steady, Neuville executed Hyundai’s game plan to perfection, finishing first. His victory was a crowning moment for the team, with Hyundai sweeping the podium: Neuville in first, Dani Sordo in second, and Ott Tänak securing third. Even under pressure, Neuville remained calm, ensuring Hyundai’s dominance.

Despite Toyota’s Sébastien Ogier pushing hard, an unfortunate accident during the power stage dashed his hopes of a podium finish. Team Toyota Gazoo Racing was left without representation on the podium, with Ogier finishing outside the top three. The win allowed Neuville to extend his lead in the championship standings:

  1. Thierry Neuville – 192 points
  2. Ott Tänak- 158 points
  3. Sebastian Ogier – 154 point

The dust may have settled in Greece, but the rally season is far from over. Teams now shift their focus to Rally Chile, taking place from September 26th to 29th, where the race to the top continues.
