In a dazzling spectacle on the icy tracks of Rally Monte-Carlo, the inaugural WRC competition unfolded, and the spotlight belonged to the maestro, Thierry Neuville, with his i20 Hyundai. This electrifying performance not only mesmerized the audience but also shattered Sebastian Ogier’s legendary Monte-Carlo winning streak.

With an exuberant glow, Thierry expressed, “I don’t have the words, to be honest. It was just so great this weekend; I felt so comfortable in the car. The whole team delivered an amazing performance, and I believe the entire package worked seamlessly. While there are always areas to refine, we’re overjoyed to clinch victory in this rally,” he beamed after conquering the final stage on the iconic Col de Turini. The echoes of success reverberate through the team’s remarkable collaboration and Neuville’s mastery, setting the stage for a thrilling WRC season ahead.

Sebastian Ogier claimed a commendable second place, closely pursued by Elfyn Evans, both showcasing their prowess with Toyota Gazoo Racing. Ott Tanak secured the fourth position with Hyundai i20, adding to the intense competition. The M-Sport Ford team, led by the skillful Adrien Fourmaux, further fueled the excitement, securing a noteworthy fifth place.
